Foundation Testing
MMCE's engineers have been retained on a number of projects involving testing of piles and caissons. This includes designing and managing a pullout test on drilled shafts in Syracuse, New York and a lateral load test on a large diameter drilled shaft in Queens, New York. MMCE is also experienced with static and dynamic load testing piles including analysis of pile driving operations using the wave equation and testing with a pile driving analyzer. In addition to the more traditional pile types such as steel H-piles, and pipe piles, MMCE has used helical piles and mini piles on several projects where they were more economical or conditions precluded installing the more traditional pile types.
