Waste Management of New York, LLC operates the Chaffee Landfill Facility in the Town of Sardinia, New York. MMCE has been providing ongoing hydrogeologic and engineering consultation at the Chaffee Facility since 2001.  MMCE is the engineer of record for the recently permitted 50 acre expansion at the facility. MMCE prepared the documents required under the State Environmental Review Act and NYCRR Part 360 permit as well as final design and construction plans for the facility including:

• Environmental Impact Statement,
• Hydrogeologic Report including groundwater flow study,
• Engineering Report including design rational, stormwater calculations, slope stability and -settlement computations,
• Construction quality assurance plan,
• Final design plans and specifications,
• Operation and Maintenance Manual,
• Environmental Monitoring Plan, and
• Borrow source evaluation report.
