Hyland Facility Associates operates a municipal solid waste disposal facility in Angelica, New York. MMCE has been providing services related to geotechnical and groundwater engineering since 1993. MMCE has been involved in the permitting of the facility, construction of landfill cells and infrastructure and environmental monitoring. 

MMCE has provided Hyland with the following design and construction monitoring services for the facility:

• Preparation of cell construction plans, QA/QC plan and project Specifications,
• Preparation of final cover plans,
• Preparation of design plans for the leachate storage facility,
• Construction QA/QC testing of soils and geosynthetics,
• Gas system repairs,
• Surface water control plans,
• Operational control plans,
• Quarterly volume and compaction estimates, and
• Landfill stability and settlement analysis.
