Kaitlyn Murray, P.E. Attends SWE Annual Conference
Kaitlyn attended the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Annual Conference in Anaheim, California. This conference is the world’s largest conference for women engineers and brings together the leading voices and figures in the movement to advance women in engineering and technology. Over the course of three days, Kaitlyn took part in 14 different workshops, one technical tour, and two keynote presentations. The workshops covered topics in leadership, outreach, innovation, communication, knowledge transfer, stress management, digital technology, cyber security, financing, technical intuition, presentation techniques, and global construction. The technical tour was a construction tour at a medical office building in Long Beach, California. Both keynote presentations were from innovative leaders in STEM fields on their experiences and advice for fellow women in STEM fields.
